FIRE

This Website Is All About Fire!

What Is Fire?

Fire is the visible effect of the process of combustion a special type of chemical reaction. It occurs between oxygen in the air and some sort of fuel. The products from the chemical reaction are completely different from the starting material. The fuel must be heated to its ignition temperature for combustion to occur. The reaction will keep going as long as there is enough heat, fuel and oxygen. This is known as the fire triangle.

When Did We Discover Fire

The discovery of the fire was gradual and historians believe that it developed in several stages. First, they simply kept fires in areas near which they could establish a base camp, later believe that the fire was kept extracted from areas where there had been a fire and they learned to control it by surrounding it with stones or concentrating it in a home. It was not until many millennia after the discovery of fire led to the ability to generate it at will with some friction device.

The Upsides of Fire

Lighting a fire from the top instead of the bottom seems counterintuitive however it allows the small, faster burning sticks to catch fire and help to prepare your lower logs and maintain a longer burn. While the traditional method of lighting a fire from underneath using newspapers does work, we prefer the upside down fire technique as our #1 choice. The Top-Down Burn Method is a close runner-up, and Traditional way comes in third place. But who are we to decide?! Do what works best for you.

The Downsides of Fire

Fire can be very harmfull, it causes forest fires, it burns people. when is makes contact with gasoline is may cause huge explosions. Fire has not killed as many peoples lives as how many it has saved. it has saved all of our lives as long as you know our history. none of us would be her. Our own town santa barbara has been wreched by fire before and it was trecherous.fire can be very harmfull, it causes forest fires, it burns people. when is makes contact with gasoline is may cause huge explosions. How Do We Use Fire

Fire gives off heat as part of its chemical reaction. Throughout history, humans have used fire for heat. We began by gathering around the warmth of campfires. This gathering generates warmth for us and acts as a meeting point for communication and developing civil social behavior among early humans. As we began to create technologies built around a fire, our use of fire for heat became more complex. For example, we developed indoor fires after learning to create chimneys. Even today, many heating appliances in outdoor restaurants and patios still rely on burning butane to generate heat.

Is Fire Actually Beneficial

Yes fire is very beneficial, we have used it to rise up above every other species, if it wasnt for fire we would not be able to cook our food, staywarm and tell storys around the campfire.
